Crown reduction
Whether you want to enhance the appearance, improve the structure, contain the size or reduce the risk of storm damage, we reduce trees the correct way for the health of the tree as well as the appearance. Crown reductions are often the most difficult types of tree work if done properly and our eye for detail and highly skilled craftsmanship will ensure that your trees are left in an aesthetically pleasing shape as well as in good form for future growth.
Pollarding
Pollarding trees can seem brutal as this leaves the tree looking very bare and somewhat abstract but this is a recognised form of maintaining a tree and if done correctly and at the right time for the trees health then this type of work can actually prolong the life of a tree.
Stump grinding
If they can be left left in situ we do encourage this as rotting stumps make great habitats for all types of insects and animals. Of course there are many situations where they need to be removed and we can get your stumps ground out to well below ground level leaving you to be able to use that area again for replanting, landscaping or any other purpose.
Deadwood removal
If deadwood can safely be left in the tree then that is potentially beneficial for the trees health but there are many instances where leaving deadwood up in the canopy is unsafe and it should be removed to avoid potential damage or injury if it were to break off and fall. We can remove all major deadwood from your trees where needed to give you peace of mind.
Tree removal
First and foremost we love trees and if there is any way to retain them then we will give you all possible options but sometimes they do need to be removed. We have the equipment and expertise to safely remove trees of any size, even in the trickiest of locations.
Hedge cutting
